ModelSwap privacy policy
This policy applies to the Capchr iOS app and to the ModelSwap Shopify app for store connection and setup, along with related services that support product capture, AI image and video generation, and publishing workflows.
Shopify app: what we collect
We may process merchant account details, shop domain information, app session data, Shopify configuration data, and operational logs needed to authenticate the app, provide merchant support, and keep the Shopify integration working.
Shopify app: how data is used
Data is used to authenticate merchants, configure the Shopify app, power supported publishing or storefront behavior, maintain billing and entitlement state where applicable, and troubleshoot service issues.
Shopify app: data handling and retention
App data is stored in managed cloud infrastructure and may be retained only for as long as needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If Shopify sends a privacy-related request, we handle it through Shopify's standard app process.
Shopify app: your rights
Merchants and customers may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information. Privacy requests are handled through Shopify's own request system rather than a separate setting inside the app.

The Capchr iOS app is operated by Verve Media Group Ltd, the controller of your personal data.
Capchr iOS app: what we collect
Your email address and account details, the images and product information you upload, how you use the app and your credit usage, and your subscription status. Your payment card details are handled by Apple, so we don't collect or store them. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.

To provide and improve the service, including generating AI imagery and listings from your images, to manage your account and subscription, to support you, and to keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
Capchr iOS app: where your images go
To create your results, the images you upload are sent to and processed by trusted third-party AI providers on our behalf, and stored using a secure third-party cloud platform. Some of these providers are based outside the UK, and we use the safeguards required by UK data protection law for those international transfers.
Capchr iOS app: sharing your information
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the service and with platforms you choose to connect, such as Shopify and TikTok Shop, so we can publish your listings at your direction. When you connect a sales channel, we send only the product listing information needed to publish — such as product titles, descriptions, images, prices, and inventory — not your personal browsing data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Capchr iOS app: storage, retention, and your rights
Your data is stored with industry-standard encryption and access controls, and we keep it only as long as needed to provide the service. When you delete content or close your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep it. You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time, and object to or restrict certain uses. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
